Crafting the finest barrels our cooperage team controls the entire process of production, from the selection of oak logs, the seasoning of the staves to the fabrication and finishing of the barrels.
There are no short cuts.
We hand select the highest quality Zemplen oak
and air dry our staves for two to three years.
Our barrels are fire bent and toasted using traditional oak-burning fire pots. We also provide toasted heads and seal them with Hungarian bee wax.
With the upmost commitment to consistency, we hand test each barrel with highly pressured water to ensure there are no leaks. There are no short cuts!
